Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as Sardar Patel went to England for the higher studies. He came back to India as a barrister. Vallabhbhai got married to Zaverbhai in the year 1891. He was very much influenced by Gandhiji. Gandhiji gave him the title of 'Sardar'. He got entry into the politics in the year 1918. Vallabhbhai became the president in the year 1931. Vallabhbhai became the Home Minister of Independent India in the year 1947. Vallabhbhai's service to the nation will always be acknowledged. He expired in the year 1949. He is called the Iron Man Of India.
