Nargis was first appeared on the screen as a child artiste with the name baby rani in the year 1935. She is known to be the sister of Bollywood actors Akhtar Hussain and Anwar Hussain. She made a great chemistry with Raj Kapoor and gave so many box office hits with him. Both of them had an off-screen romance and intimate relationship. After playing the mother of Sunil Dutt in the film “Mother India”, she gained a country wide recognition. This film was very much acclaimed by the people due to its best storyline and acting of the actors. Later, she married to Sunil Dutt. Superstar Sanjay dutt was born to her. Her last years were not very good. She suffered from pancreatic cancer and died on May 3, 1981.
