Bal Gangadhar Tilak was one of the most important leaders of India. He started two weeklies in the year 1881, which are named Maratha and Kesari. He was very fond of the Indian heritage and also an admirer of Shivaji. He reorganized the festivals such as Ganapati and Shivaji in order to develop the spirit of cooperation and patriotism. He took his last breath in the year 1920 in the month of August. Gopal Krishna Gokhale will always be remembered for the important words spoken by him.
